General Information

Reception age children are allocated a key worker, to help us get to know them and to settle them in more easily. We believe this is a wonderful opportunity to support children with their social skills: sharing, taking turns, being polite and respecting others. We support them acquire their independence: making their own sandwich, pouring a drink and looking after their possessions etc. While we are happy to help children in their general school learning, our priority, after a long day at school, is with their wider wellbeing and social skills. We also work closely with the children's teachers to help ensure each child has the best care possible.

Children wishing to join in with School based clubs (e.g. Netball & Football) are also able to do so, we can make sure they are collected safely afterwards, unfortunately though, we are not able to make any reduction in cost for any portion of the missed session.

We believe children should have plenty of opportunities to join in with a wide range of fun activities from crafts, sports, dressing up, cooking and construction toys and as long as they are playing nicely and sharing, there is always plenty of free choice.

After school the Infant children are collected from their classes by a member of staff, junior children are allowed to escort themselves independently. During the session the children help themselves (with help where necessary) to a cold tea such as wraps, sandwiches, fruit and yogurts, this is intended to keep the children going until they get home for their dinner.

For parents with Reception children looking to book a place for the following year we are happy to put you on a waiting list until you are allocated your school place. When School allocations are made we ask that you confirm your booking with a deposit to secure your place.

We accept payment via various childcare voucher schemes and are registered for government tax-free childcare, please contact us for more details.

Ad-hoc Bookings

These are sessions which are extra to your usual booking and can be made directly at the club. Ad-hoc bookings may be made from the start of the half term for that current half term period only.

Please pop in and speak with the club supervisor who can check availability for you, ad-hoc bookings are charged slightly higher at £6.00 breakfast & £15.00 after school, paid for at the time of booking directly at club by cash or cheque. I am afraid we are unable to take payment by childcare vouchers for extra sessions and refunds are not allowed once a session has been booked if you no longer wish your child to attend.

Holiday Clubs

Open for children from Reception to Year 6 - 8.00 am to 6.00 pm each day - during normal school holidays. Children are given plenty of free choice and are also welcome to bring their scooters to use on the playground. We have plenty on offer for everyone so whether your child enjoys, cooking, crafts, sports or just relaxing with their friends we are sure they will have a great time.
