It is hoped that by thinking and learning about values, the children will acquire a solid foundation on which to base their future actions, decisions and judgements, so they may become happy, fulfilled individuals who are able to make positive contributions to the community.

We believe that Values Based Education will:

  • Encourage all of us to be the best that we can be.
  • Provide a moral framework.
  • Encourage reflective and ethical thinking.
  • Help us to better understand and articulate the impact our behaviour can have on our friends, our school and our community.
  • Strengthen our sense of belonging.
